2025 Portsmouth Westival was truly one for the books. Live music, delicious local food to laughter, lawn chairs, and neighbors reconnecting, the community came together in the heart of Portsmouth’s West End to celebrate like never before.
Westival is a celebration of Portsmouth’s West End, started 9 years ago and is a chance for neighbors, families, and friends to come together and enjoy everything that makes this community so special. With food items priced under $5, the event isn’t about making money; it’s about building connections, supporting local businesses, and giving back. At its heart, Westival is designed to strengthen community bonds while raising funds for organizations that fight food insecurity and create positive change in the Seacoast.
We are thrilled to share that Westival 2025 had our largest turnout ever and raised nearly double the amount of money compared to last year! Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised $2,611 for Gather and $1,350 for Red’s Good Vibes — bringing the total raised to $3,961 🎉. And with Red Post Realty matching the donation to Gather, the impact will be even greater, helping both organizations in their missions to fight food insecurity across the Seacoast.

About Gather
Gather provides nutritious food and prepared meals to those experiencing hunger on the Seacoast in New Hampshire and Maine. They do this through their pantry market, mobile markets, and innovative food access programs. Each month, Gather serves more than 10,000 Seacoast residents and distributes over 1.7 million pounds of food annually.
Founded in 1816 by a group of compassionate women dedicated to feeding the families of local fishermen, Gather is one of the oldest social service agencies in the country. While its programs have evolved over the years, its unwavering mission remains the same: ending food insecurity in Seacoast communities.

About Red’s Good Vibes
Red’s Good Vibes is a local nonprofit dedicated to spreading positivity and eliminating barriers to basic needs. Known for their “Good Vibes Trucks” that deliver meals, essential supplies, and uplifting energy, they’ve built a movement rooted in kindness and dignity for all.
