We have recently been informed by the Maine Association of Realtors® that real estate services in the state of Maine are being considered “essential business” and can continue under certain restrictions.
While the market has naturally slowed as a result of the pandemic, it’s apparent to our industry that there is still activity among both sellers and buyers. The market is heavily lacking inventory – but buyers are still searching for their forever homes while struggling to find what they’re looking for without the proper help. In light of this information and in order to provide the best service to our community, we’d like to assure our valued Red Posters that each of our Realtors® are committed to the following precautionary measures until we’re told otherwise:
🧼Sanitizing their hands, wearing gloves, and covering shoes prior to entering any home.
👋Maintaining at least a 6 foot distance between themselves and other parties as required by the CDC during all vital in-person meetings.
🖥Strongly recommending virtual showings and conducting them upon request, as available.
🏡Conducting Virtual Open Houses instead of traditional open houses, limiting the number of people entering a home while still providing a detailed walk through of all features, with 360 degree views of the property.
📝Preparing and submitting all offers and contracts electronically.
📲Attending consultations with buyers or sellers virtually via Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, etc as opposed to traditional, in-person consultations.
💼Working from home as much as possible.
🏢Keeping our office closed. Closings will be conducted in our office by appointment only and will be limited to only essential attendees. Our office will be sanitized before and after each closing.
🎉Selling homes safely and successfully!
